The Rebuild Potrero team is pleased to inform you that we have set dates for the three meetings/tours announced at the February 23rd Town Hall meeting. Please respond by email (potrero@bridgehousing.com) indicating which of the below events you are interested in attending. Sign up early so we can make sure we can accommodate all who are interested.

I. REVIEW OF MASTER PLANNING PROCESS (to date)
This meeting will provide an overview of the master planning process since its commencement in Fall 2008. Team members will review materials presented in and generated through meetings with Potrero Hill residents including residents of Potrero Terrace and Annex.
This is an informational session for those who are new to the project/process and want to understand the steps leading up to the development of the proposed plan.

II. SAN FRANCISCO’S LAND USE/ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW PROCESS
Neighborhood resident Joe Boss and land use attorney Steve Vettel will give a broad overview of the steps involved in the city’s permitting process, review land use and zoning issues and give a detailed description of the (EIR) environmental review process. They will present information on the various applications and documents that must be filed and processed for large developments and the opportunities for public comment and input throughout the 18+ month review process, with particular attention to the Potrero Terrace and Annex master plan.

III. TOUR OF NORTH BEACH PLACE
Ben Golvin, Community Relations Manager for Rebuild Potrero, will lead a tour of North Beach Place, a former public housing development redeveloped by BRIDGE Housing. North Beach Place is located on Bay Street adjacent to the cable car turnaround. The maximum attendance for each tour is 10 people, so depending upon the level of interest there will be one or two tours. Please indicate your date preference in your return email. Tour participants will meet at North Beach Place.

We look forward to these opportunities to inform and educate as many Potrero Hill residents as possible about the important work that Rebuild Potrero is undertaking at Potrero Terrace and Annex as part of the HOPE SF program.
