Introduction to the Community
In response to an invitation from the Potrero Hill Boosters, the BRIDGE team, joined by the Housing Authority and the Mayor’s Office of Housing, presented the schedule for this master planning process, and the key elements of the rebuilding process that had been presented to, and generated by, the Residents of Potrero Terrace and Annex:
- The HOPE SF principles
- The phased rebuilding approach, and Resident relocation on-site
- The goals and principles generated by the Residents from their “likes & dislikes”
- Opportunities & constraints, and the principles of Defensible Design There was also an opportunity for a question and answer session that generated some excellent questions and concerns. Residents and neighbors were encouraged to sign up to attend the Focus Group sessions, beginning in early January.
