CONSTRUCTION @ Potrero

The urban design vision for REBUILD Potrero is to connect Potrero Terrace and Annex residents with open spaces and create a variety of housing options for a scale of incomes continuing the vibrant architectural pattern of the neighborhood. 

At the center of this revitalization is a neighborhood center that will provide community facilities and services, a large park, other small open spaces and a plaza. Once the five phases are complete, the demolishing and rebuilding of Potrero Terrace and Annex will achieve:

• Neighborhoods that with accessible streets connecting them to other Potrero neighborhoods;

• Economic opportunities for low-income residents; and

• A  "main" street that will be the center of the community with opportunities for all Potrero residents.

1101 Connecticut, the first of REBUILD Potrero's five phases is expected to be completed in late Fall of 2018 with occupancy in early 2019.
